2. Services

2.1 Youngs Dog Training LLC employs positive reinforcement integrated with scientific principles and holistic strategies in our dog training services. We adhere to a fear-free and force-free approach, ensuring effective and humane training solutions tailored to the individual needs of each dog

2.2 Guarantees:
No - and you should avoid any trainers that promise quick fixes and guarantee outcomes. We can never fully predict the behavior of a living being capable of independent thought. Our resource on training expectations covers this in depth.

Too many factors go into making a proper prognosis such as breeding background, breed/genetics in general, prior learning history, medical issues, and even prenatal development. A prognosis will be discussed and provided to you in the initial consult, if necessary.

What we CAN guarantee is that we prioritize continuing education so that we can ensure you are getting the latest, most up-to-date, evidence-based behavioral training. We also have a multidisciplinary approach - often working together as a team within our own program and (with your permission) working with other trainers, mentors, veterinarians, and specialty providers, as needed.

3. Registration and Account Security

3.1 To access certain features of the Website, you may be required to register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Payments and Refunds

4.1 Payment for services is due in advance. The Company reserves the right to modify service fees with notice.

4.2 Refund requests will be considered within 48 hours of purchase. Package session refunds for owner-focused sessions: If you used 3 or fewer sessions, you will be charged at the price of a single individual owner-focused session, and any remaining amount will be refunded to the payment method made at the start.

4.3 Services purchased will be void, and a full refund will be given if deemed the service purchased would not suit the needs of your pet. Communication with you will follow with an explanation and discussion on the best route to proceed.

5. Appointment Cancellations and Unused Services

5.1 Hands-off, owner-focused, and consultation cancellations require a 72-hour in advance cancellation notice via email/text or call. Canceled appointments that we do not receive notice 48 hours in advance will not be refunded and deemed used, as you blocked out a potential time another client could have selected for use.

5.2 Expiration of Unused Owner-Focused Packages:
Owner-focused packages purchased and unused have an expiration date if not used within a six-month time frame. We will make every effort to email reminders about booking the next sessions. However, any sessions that were not discussed and planned for the necessary needed time frame for the behavior plan and go into a state of limbo will be rendered forfeit after a six-month period.

5.3 To continue with the training plan, a new consult and purchase of additional sessions will be required. The time that passes affects your dog's behavior, and lack of training within this time may result in the issue potentially worsening compared to what was discussed and broken down within the initial behavior plan breakdown session.
